This is Shari.

The Hodges piece titled, "Invention Throughout the Writing Process," for 2/10/14 was very interesting.  She breaks down the writing process so that it doesn't seem so daunting and difficult.  By having steps, she makes writing seem approachable, doable and almost like merely tying one's shoelace (you don't want to stop to do it, but once you do it's over, and you can walk better and more easily).  And she's right when she says that if the writer is interested in the topic, that the reader will feel that passion and become interested too.
